We acknowledge that our work is on Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 and the home of the Métis. These lands include the traditional territories of many Indigenous peoples. We are thankful to those who have shared the land before us, those who continue to share the land and those who will share the land in the future. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we are committed to moving forward in elevating and empowering the voices of Indigenous Peoples. We recognize our shared interest and value in wildlife and the environment with Indigenous Peoples and the need to work together for our future generations. We respect the Traditional knowledge with which Indigenous Peoples are stewards of the land since time immemorial.
